A BEACHY FIT!

So, I decided to throw a little tantrum. A “beachy” fit. Not a hissy fit. How so? Let's gist.

Generally speaking, a subject matter is viewed in a particular way and given different interpretations by different people. Even siblings who were born and raised in the same household with same set of values can have the most diverse opinions on the same subject matter. So it is no surprise that the subject matter of this post is viewed differently by different people.

So what’s my beachy fit about? Anklets. Yes, anklets. You know, those dainty pieces of jewelry worn on the ankles by ladies. To some people, it's just a piece of jewelry, worn on the ankle, no more, no less. To some others, it seems to have a negative spiritual connotation. Yet to another set of people, the lady who wears this piece of jewelry is seen to be a morally loose lady.

Three points of view on just one piece of jewelry. These points of view will never merge. Who knows, perhaps there are other points of view on this piece of jewelry. Are there? Care to share in the comments section?

Personally, I like anklets. To me, it's just a piece of jewelry just like earrings, rings, bracelets, etc. However, the first day I wore one as a teenager, I found out about the other two points of view on anklets. πŸ€“ These views were expressed in very strong terms. So strong that I had to shelve and continued to shelve my attraction for anklets. I pick my battles. 😁

But today, I decided to throw a little tantrum and have me a beachy fit by wearing these pieces of jewelry on my feet at the beach. I call it a “little” tantrum because though these are worn on the ankles, you cannot really call them anklets by virtue of their design. They are designed like sandals with no soles. Now, if I was throwing a big tantrum I would have worn plain old anklets. πŸ€“

Point of this post? Feel free to have an opinion on any subject matter but don’t impose your opinion on others. Your opinion is not binding. It is just what it is, opinion not law. πŸ€“

Stay beautiful,

'Zibah.
