THE FRAGRANT FRAGRANCE THAT OPENS DOORS

There are fragrances . . . and then again, there are fragrances. What is a fragrance? It is a scent or a sweet smell. Jesus is the fragrant fragrance that is pleasing to anyone who perceives it. The wearer of the fragrant fragrance of Jesus enjoys the benefits of the effect that fragrance has on those who perceive it. 


What does he or she enjoy? Attention that opens doors for help in times of need, unmerited favors, the ease with which difficult situations are smoothed out, healing for the sick, ability to win souls, etc. 


As it is in the physical, so it is in the spiritual. In fact, it should be the other way around. As it is in the spiritual, so it is in the physical.


What is she talking about? 🤓 

As we have fragrances which we perceive with our olfactory sense, so also do we have auras which transcend from the spiritual to the physical realm. Meaning? The aura you carry around has a direct impact on your day to day dealings with people, whether or not you realize it. The aura you have can either open doors for you, or slam doors (which you desperately need to be open) in your face . . . ouch! 




Still don’t understand? Okay, I am talking about the aura you get from spending time with Jesus.


There is no shortcut to it if you want to live your life to its maximum capability. How do you spend time in His presence? Feed your spirit man with the word of God by reading your bible daily . . .  praise . . . pray . . . worship . . . fast . . . meditate . . . be Jesus and or Holy Spirit conscious and let it be your lifestyle and not a task or duty to be performed. If it still feels like a task to you, then ask for the grace to see it for what it truly is: a time of refreshing for you, a time and place where you “recharge your batteries” and you are good to go again.


When this becomes your lifestyle, you will notice a great difference in your circumstances. Then you will continuously taste and see that the Lord is good indeed!

    The beauty of this piece is how you've so carefully crafted fragrant fragrance of Jesus into our consciousness. I recall how Jesus rebuked Judas when he tried stopping Mary of Magdala....for reasons best known to him, from applying a very expensive fragrance on the feet of our Lord Jesus.
    What a magnificent way to end my Sunday reading this piece.

      Reasons best known to him: Judas had an idea of the cost of the expensive fragrance and would have preferred to have the value of it in the money bag in his custody 🤓

The aim of this time out was just to take a short and simple break from my routine work life. ARMS AKIMBO

I took a look at the shots taken while checking the angles of my camera in preparation for the main shoot of this post and it finally dawned on me that the left arm akimbo pose was not my favourite pose but my comfy pose. It was my pose in literally all the shots taken. At the time the shots were being taken, I never thought the images would come on the blog. But after going through the images, I got curious as to the significance of the pose in terms of body language. I went googling and decided to share with you. A PODS LUNCH

  On this impromptu  outing , I ended up at  Ile-Iyan by PODs  restaurant for lunch.  Ile-Iyan by PODs is what I would call a destination place with a pleasant African themed decor and ambience.  From the menu, I had pounded yam and egusi soup accompanied with escargot and chevon. Rather, the pounded yam, egusi soup and escargot accompanied the chevon. 🤓 My taste buds enjoyed the rich taste of the egusi soup. The escargot (snail) was just there, almost bland in taste. As for the pounded yam . . . let's just say I prefer the thicker or should I say stronger consistency of pounded yam to the one I ate there. 🤓 Now, the chevon on the other hand (yes, I have to address it properly because why would I just say goat meat for something so delicious? 🤓) was  yummilicious!  It was so tasty, tender, big, fleshy and really . . .  yummilicious!  đŸ˜‹  It was that good, I kid you not.  Like I mentioned earlier, this outing was impromptu, s...
