AGOG FOR AGODI

On this sightseeing trip, I ended up at the Agodi Botanical Gardens in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. I read about Agodi Gardens online and decided to visit the place. I was agog for Agodi.

I had high expectations of a serene experience based on the pictures I saw online. I won’t use the word disappointed. Let’s just say my expectations were not met.

However, I tried to have a bit of fun regardless. I learnt how to use the hoverboard and actually enjoyed it. I came to the conclusion that it was a mind control exercise 🤓.

My hoverboard instructor said no, that it was the control of the feet. I did not agree but ended the back and forth by telling him it was the mind (or should I say the brain?) giving instructions to the feet. I still think getting the hoverboard to move, stop, turn around or spin in a circle (I learnt how to do all of these today) is a mind control exercise. 😁

I also rode the Governor. Talking about the horse . . .

. . . what were you thinking?

Agog for another visit to Agodi Gardens? If you were in my shoes, what would your answer be? Love to hear from you in the comment section.

Stay beautiful,

'Zibah.

  1. That's a great experience.
I believe the hoverboard movement is made possible when the mind forms a concept of movement thereby sending signals to the brain while the brain controls the movement based on the direction of the legs.

  2. The hoverboard is all about control and coordination...of mind and body.
Judging from the fun you got when you went "Agog", there'll definitely be something to remember about Agodi that'll make you sure want to go for more. I'll be here waiting to read about the renewed exploration at AGODI.

    1. 😂 You're right there. The fun sure made up for the unmet expectations. I hope to be back there someday and hopefully there'll be more fun activities to be agog for at Agodi. Thanks a lot for stopping by! 🙌
