NEW BEGINNINGS...

We get on a path we are so sure we should be on.

We get on the path and start taking steps with the subconscious expectation that since it's a path made by nature, it should be smooth.

Alas, nature hardly has any smooth path. Rocks, weeds, woods and other elements feature naturally on nature's paths.

And so we stumble, either stubbing our toes on rocks, feet get entangled with the weeds along the path, tripped by a piece of wood or fall flat on our faces as a result of unforseen collisions with the other elements on the path.

But we do not keep staggering like a drunk person in broad daylight as a result of the stumble, neither do we stay rooted on the spot as a result of our feet being entangled with the weeds nor stay tripped up by the wood, or lie face down from the fall resulting from the unforseen collision with the other elements on the path.

We arise and move on, learning our lessons as we go along our paths with the understanding that though the stumbles: stubbings, entanglements, trips and falls form a natural part of our paths, they are not stop signs along our paths.

So we make the choice to keep an open mind and enjoy the path with it's lessons as we journey along with determination to our ultimate destinations.

From one who mistook a stumble for a stop sign . . .

Merry Christmas!

Stay beautiful,

'Zibah.
