MY MANGO SALSA

 



The five basic ingredients for a mango salsa usually are mangoes, red onions, jalapenos (green chili pepper, hotter and sweeter when its red but not as hot as habanero or scotch bonnet peppers), cilantro leaves and lime juice. All fresh.





However, I am not crazy about the taste of lime juice and I couldn’t lay my hands on cilantro leaves so why not switch some ingredients and make this mango salsa my way? Here I have fresh mangoes, spring onions, red onions, an orange (for its juice) and scotch bonnet pepper sans the seeds. 🤓





The other ingredients in this mango salsa really gave the regular mango fruit a boost in taste. 


Mangos are said to be rich in antioxidants which maybe beneficial to slowing down the aging process of the skin.


Other fruits said to be rich in antioxidants include strawberries, pineapples, apples, oranges, etc.
